4 Ingredient Beer Bread

Ingredients

  • 3 cups self-rising flour
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • 12 oz beer room temperature
  • 1/4 cup butter melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375℉

  2. Mix flour, sugar, and beer into a bowl together until most of the big clumps are gone-- try not to overmix!

  3. Pour into a greased loaf pan and bake in oven for 25 minutes

  4. After 25 minutes, remove pan from oven to pour melted butter on the loaf. Return to oven for 20 additional minutes.

  5. Once removed from oven, let cool slightly before removing from loaf pan and letting cool completely before cutting into loaf

Recipe Notes

If you don't have self-rising flour, for every cup of self-rising flour, you can substitute one cup of all-purpose flour, 1 teaspoon baking powder, ½ teaspoon salt, and ¼ teaspoon baking soda.

For this recipe, 3 cups of self-rising flour would equal 3 cups all-purpose flour, 1 tablespoon baking powder, 1 1/2 tsp salt, and 3/4 tsp  baking soda
