If you were lucky enough to score tickets for Taylor Swiftâs Eras Tour, you might be like me and seriously deliberating what to wear and which era to dress for the concert! I am going to see Taylor perform at one of the August Los Angeles dates and Iâm so excited. Thankfully I have plenty more time to decide on which era to pick and what exactly my Eras outfit will be because I have so many ideas.
UPDATE: Here is a part 2 to this post with more outfit ideas, just in case some of the items below are sold out!:
Iâve gone back and forth on so many outfit ideas now that I figured I would share some of my finds if you are in a similar boat and just canât decide what to wear!
If you want to read about how I made my custom beaded jacket with all of the colors of the eras, you can read HERE!
I attempted to group my ideas by era, but I think some could easily overlap. For example, I think Midnights and 1989 have similar aesthetics and sometimes Reputation and Midnights also have similar vibes (both kind of dark). I also tried to include a bunch of different price points so you can hopefully find something in your budget. Overall, I think most people want to dress in sparkles, sequins, and/or fringe because her concerts are FUN!
Iâm attempting to thrift a lot of my outfit too (since Iâm likely not going to wear this outfit again), so Iâve been scouring Poshmark a lot to try to find a good deal. If you are new to Poshmark, you can use my code âSABURROUGHSâ for a $10 credit!
I hope that if you are stumped on what to wear, this post can serve as some inspiration to go find something and thrift it potentially or buy it directly if that isnât your thing đ
When I think about this era, Iâm thinking black and snakes! But I do think some of these outfits would also fit with the Midnights era too if styled a certain way.
This would be so cute for a reputation/midnight vibe and would be comfy too! This top is under $25 on Amazon so its an affordable option as well. I would pair this with a longline black sports bra underneath, biker shorts or a black skort, and some comfy white sneakers!
This would be so cute with a faux leather skirt!
Like the first top, I would wear this with a longline sports bra and maybe a black skirt or high-waisted black shorts
Make sure you accessorize for this era with plenty of snake themed jewelry! đ
When I think of this era, I think of a lot of matching crop top/skirt sets. Also sequins are 1000% necessary.
I recall Taylor wearing a bomber jacket similar to this on her 1989 Tour so you could pay homage to that with this jacket!
This set is pricey from Revolve, but I think you could easily find something similar on Poshmark or eBay if that is the vibe you are looking for!
These colors even look like the different eras colors!
Also kind of pricey, but I actually think this one is a bit more subtle and you could find other occasions to wear this outfit!
I think this one also would look so cute for the Midnights era!
This one comes in multiple colors but I especially love the teal and silver options!
I think this could be really cute with a black crop top or a body suit that you already have in your closet!
This one is giving Midnights vibes but it also comes in Red (Red Era!) and in iridescent pink (Lover vibes)
Edit: It looks like they sold out of every color besides red now! đ
I like how this is subtly Midnights with the stars. This one is also currently on sale for a great price!
Obviously pink and pastels for this era!
Iâm obsessed with this dress. I have yet to find another dress that is so blatantly LOVER ERA!
I love the sequin blazer look! Nasty Gal has a lot of sequin blazer options that could fit a bunch of different eras.
The colors in this dress remind me of the âME!â music video which is perfect if your are dressing for the Lover era!
I love this dress! I love the pastels in it like the previous dress. Itâs pretty pricey but so darn cute!
This one definitely isnât as loud or pink as the others, but I think itâs so feminine and flowery that it fits the era great!
This would look so cute with a sequin skirt or high waisted shorts!
This one is pretty self-explanatory but wearing red would be a good choice if youâre dressing for this era for the tour đ
This shirt paired with some sparkly high waisted shorts (like below) is just like what Taylor wears during the tour for her Red set and like what she wore during the Red Tour!
And you obviously need the iconic heart sunglasses to go with it!
This one is pricey too, but I think it is so fun!
This reminds me of a similar popular dress being sold by Free People right now!
The color for speak now is normally represented by lilac purple, and I think girly feminine dresses are the way to go for this era.
I normally think of this era as a greens, teal, and blues. I think something feminine with cowboy boots would be perfect for this era!
This aesthetic tends to lean a little more cottage core. I think a prairie style dress would work but I donât think that is as fun to wear to the concert! Iâve included a couple of options that I think still capture the essence of the album while being fun.
While the aesthetic of folklore is more cottage core, I would be wrong to not include an outfit that wasnât a literal mirrorball to be a nod to her song âMirrorballâ on the album!
The colors for fearless tends to be whites, golds, silver, and champagne.
Evermore also has a cottage core aesthetic but reminds me of plaid because of the album cover.
I think this would be cute with a black t-shirt underneath it!
