Another viral recipe to try out today, this one is a TikTok cinnamon roll hack! This hack jazzes up a regular can of store-bought cinnamon rolls and makes them into pillowy Cinnabon like rolls. You know how when you make cinnamon rolls that the middle ones in the pan are the best because they are soft and have no crust to them at all? Now imagine the entire tray is like that– that’s what you get with these cinnamon rolls!
The cooking in heavy cream, butter, brown sugar, and extra cinnamon makes the cinnamon rolls super soft and creates a really delicious sauce on the the bottom of the pan.
And then, because they NEVER give you enough icing for the cinnamon rolls in the can, the icing is stretched a bit by adding some powdered sugar, softened butter, vanilla, and touch of milk.
It was hard for me to find measurements for all of the cinnamon roll hack videos I saw on TikTok, and there was some varying on the amounts of brown sugar used. I saw a couple of videos that appeared to use more than 1/4 cup, but honestly, these rolls have enough sugar– I have trouble imagining using more than that!
You’re going to love these cinnamon rolls! Such an easy way to spruce up a store-bought can and make them taste homemade. Garrett and I almost ate the entire tray between the two of us in one night haha
Some TikTok recipes I have tried are pretty good like these firecracker salmon bites or these sour patch grapes, but these are the BEST recipe/hack I have tried from TikTok!
