Signal the alarm because Mother’s Day is less than two weeks away!
I’m generally the person who forgets until the week of a holiday and by that point, it’s too late to order an edible arrangement or some other kind of generic delivery gift.
For that reason, I have compiled a list of gifts your mom will love that are pretty inexpensive and easy to find!
1. DIY Spa Gift Basket
If you’re too late to order a gift basket from Harry & David, why not DIY it? Go to Sephora, Ulta, and/or Target and find some cute products that your mom could use to have an at home spa night!
Some examples of things to include:
- GLAMGLOW Mud Mask— Mini Size $24
- I often use the brightening or the charcoal one, but I linked the firming one, because she had to raise at least one child and that’s bound to cause some fine lines, right?!
- Cucumber Eye Mask — $5
- Philosophy Bubble Bath— $18
2. Lipsense
This is actually what I’m getting my mom for Mother’s Day!
My sweet friend from college (Instagram: @xesandohs if you’re interested) sells Senegence products and has sold me on LipSense. I was a little tentative because it was a MLM (think Mary Kay or Plexus), but it’s actually really great! It’s basically a lip stain that stays like none other. I really like the colors Aussie Rose and Bella and love the Rose Gloss. My mom kept complimenting me on Aussie Rose, so I got her the LipSense starter kit ($55), which includes the remover (to take it off), a lip color, and a gloss.
3. Massage Envy Gift Card
After my wedding, I got my mom and MIL both gift cards to Massage Envy to thank them for all of their help with planning and everything. They both really loved it, because massages aren’t something that either or them tend to splurge on. But who deserves a massage more than your mom?!
4. Cute Anthro Mug
Your mom probably has enough “#1 Mom” and “Mother of the Year” mugs. Get her a really pretty one instead!
Here’s some cute ones from Anthropologie that are available right now!
5. Flowers That Won’t Die After 1 Week
You could get your mom a pretty flower arrangement, but that will die in a week or so.
Alternatively, you could get her an orchid or some other kind of flower that can grow easily in her kitchen, and will live for a lot longer (hopefully) 😉
