Between an Amazon exercise dress (that reminds me a lot of the Free People Hot Shot Mini Dress), finally getting my nails done in a hot sauce red, toddler muffins, and a hyperfixation breakfast– this Friday Favorites is all over the place (but did you expect anything less?)
It has been SO long since I got a manicure. I used to get SNS or gel every 3 weeks religiously and since I had Theo almost 2 years ago, I think I’ve gotten my nails done 3 times.
I wanted a red color that was a little bit orange-y and reminded my of hot sauce. Emmy Have You Met Oscar by OPI looks online like it wouldn’t have orange-hues (it looks like a darker deep red), but in person it’s more vibrant!
I keep seeing people in the Free People Movement Hot Shot Mini Dress and thinking how cute it is! However, $60 for it was holding me back. I got this dress for under $30, and it is very similar! It doesnt have a zipper pocket on the back like the FP one, but I really like it and the color!
I wore it during our recent trip to the Grand Canyon, so I can confirm that you can be super active in it! I really liked it layered with a tank underneath and a sweatshirt on top. Got a ton of compliments on it too!
Not too long ago, I made these apple cinnamon donuts for Theo (recipe by feeding tiny bellies) and froze all the extra to make for an easy snack. They are seriously SO tasty– whenever I heat some up for Theo, I end up heating up an extra one for myself.
Not to mention they are so easy to make– we had a lot of fun baking them together!
I recently shared to TikTok my hack for getting 40+ grams of protein for breakfast. It does involve one of my supplements that I talk about in this post, but it also heavily relies on my hyper-fixation breakfast for the past year. If you followed my 75 medium journey, you might remember that I ate a breakfast burrito pretty much daily. It’s still such a good way to get a lot of protein and its also delicious and super filling!
I am almost too embarrassed to admit what I am reading currently. If you have a Kindle, you may be aware of “stuff your Kindle days”. You can find websites that list all of the free books you can download on one specific day.
A year or so ago, I downloaded 4-5 books for free on one of those days. I have read ONE and it was AWFUL. Like really AWFUL. I’m in a reading slump and decided to give one of them a try….. I am 10% through and it is…. so bad. Book is called Dark and I can already tell you I am not going to recommend it lol
That being said, if you have book recommendations, especially fun romance books (I love romantacy books!), send them my way or drop them in the comments! I need something to pull me out of my slump!
