Favorite Things: Vol. XXXI

Happy Friday! I hope you all have had a great week! My week has been busy, it started off with a new project I have been working on with Sarah from The Carolina Wanderer. We started a YouTube channel and recorded our first video together on Monday. We cooked a very weird recipe (a deep fried BBQ chicken quesadilla pizza????) from Twisted, and it turned out to be an absolute disaster. In my personal opinion, the video turned out VERY funny, so go check it out, and subscribe to our channel while you’re there!

Here’s a better look at our end product 😂 It definitely was not something I recommend anyone trying or attempting to make, but we still had a lot of fun and laughs in our attempt!

Apparently this a very food themed Favorite Things post because that is what most of this post revolves around!

Have y’all tried the new Chick-fil-A mac and cheese?! I was very pleasantly surprised with how good it is! I was worried it was going to taste like generic Velveeta mac and cheese, but it is like home style baked mac and cheese which is the bomb. If you haven’t tried it yet, I can almost guarantee that you will love it.

If you follow me on Instagram and saw my stories, then you’ve already heard this story, but I tried the Israeli Hot Chicken Sandwich from Yafo kitchen this week. It is very good, and I highly recommend it, but be warned that it is HOT. I have a pretty high tolerance to spicy food (fun fact: I’ve completed the Buffalo Wild Wings hot wing eating contest twice), so normally when people tell me something is spicy, I take it with a grain of salt. But this truly has a kick!

I took the biggest first bite humanely possible, and literally had to hold back my watering eyes. Even the bus boy came by to make sure I was ok HAHA
