Typing in the title for this blog post, I had to triple check to make sure it was truly volume 30! It’s hard to believe that I started this blog a little over a year and a half ago, and even though I didn’t really start committing to it until I was like 8 months in, time has flown by. I appreciate every single one of you who subscribe and check in regularly to support my little blog. I’m always trying to improve, so if there’s anything you want to see more of on the blog, let me know!
Since 30 feels like a big number, I tried to include more things than normal in this episode of Favorite Things 🙂 Have a happy weekend!
I’m attempting to transition to more fall colors with my manicures, but I’m having trouble letting go of the idea that summer is almost over! In person, this color is a bit more orange/coral, but it’s super subtle. I’m really digging this SNS color though!
Since G and I moved to a more rural area, we are constantly commenting on how gorgeous this field is right by our house. We think they might be growing soybean (comment if you know what plant it is!). The light has been so pretty around sunset, so G took some pictures of me in the field a couple weeks ago.
Outfit details: Shirt / similar skirts: option 1, option 2 / hat
G jokingly calls me the “mayor of Bo-town” because of my love affair with Bojangles, and I honestly need Bojangles to sponsor me at this point. It’s one of my major weaknesses because it is really hard to beat their hash browns, seasoned fries, and above all else: their cajun filet biscuit. They recently added pimento cheese to their menu so that you can add it to any sandwich. I love it on the chicken cajun filet biscuit– if you haven’t tried it yet, you’re going to love it!
Is anyone else watching Bachelor In Paradise this season? I know it’s so stupid but it cracks me up haha
If you’re watching this season, hopefully this tweet makes you laugh 🙂
This is definitely more of a splurge item than I would normally share with y’all, but it has been in my cart for over a year now, and I’m trying to decide if I should pull the trigger and just buy it. It is the anorak style jacket that I love, but a bit warmer and much better quality than ones I have owned in the past. It reminds me a lot of the super pricey Barbour jackets, which are much more expensive than this one! It is available in Orvis stores and online for $249. It is also available on Amazon for the same price, but I have seen the price lower on Amazon in the off season.
I’ve lived in North Carolina for 16 years now, so at this point, I consider myself a southerner. I bought this book off Amazon as a coffee table book and I love it! It’s super cute and perfect for stacking.
I’ve started reading again (YAY!) and just started Where the Crawdads Sing at the recommendation of like 20 different people. It’s super good so far. If you’re going on a road trip any time soon and are interested in hearing the story through audiobook, you can get it (and another book!) for free on Audible.
