Favorite Things: Vol. XXIII

Happy Friday! I’m enjoying my last few days of break from school before the craziness begins again on Monday AND I start my new job! (!!!!!!) It feels like quite some time that I’ve done a Favorite Things post, so I guess there’s a lot of things for me to choose from 🙂

1. The Depot @ Gibson Mill

I’m pretty sure this is the largest antique mall in the south. It is the easiest place for me to get lost in. I kind of stumbled across it on my way home from High Point, NC, and I completely lost track of time in it. The items are reasonably priced and there is SO much to see. I will be coming back frequently!

2. Axe Club of America

I mentioned this place in my Native’s Guide to Charlotte, but hadn’t actually gone there (lol), but now I can fully endorse this place! G and I took his parents there when they came to visit and we had a blast! There is a coach who helps you learn to throw and correct your form. It’s really a blast!

3. Tiger World

This place is tucked away a little outside of Concord, NC. Every time I drove to and from Virginia during college breaks, I passed by signs advertising for Tiger World. I kept telling myself that I would go one day, and although it only took me 6 years to make it, I did! G took me there for my birthday and made a donation, so we could hold and interact with their baby sloth, Nacho!!!!

I may or may not have had a Kristen Bell moment lol

4. Thayer’s Witch Hazel Toner

I haven’t consistently used toner in quite a while, but the texture of my skin has felt uneven lately, so I thought that maybe I need to start it back! I’ve used the BENTON Snail Bee Toner in the past, but have always heard great things about Thayer’s and I am loving it so far! It’s very gentle (#teamsensitiveskin) so I use it after I wash my face with the Philosophy Purity cleanser and use the Olay facial cleansing brush. My skin has been glowing more since I started using it!

5. Minimalist style for spring

Lately, it seems like my style board on Pinterest has been filled with really simple, minimalist styles. I’ve been bit with the spring cleaning fever and I really just want to clear out my whole closet! Haha! (So make sure you go check out my Poshmark Closet to go snag some good deals on my clothes!!!!)

6. LIKEtoKNOW.it

If you didn’t hear on my Instagram, I got accepted to LIKEtoKNOW.it! If you want to follow me on their app, my username is RegularFolks. If you’re new to the app, you download it and sign up, and then when you see a look of mine that you like and want outfit details, just screenshot the picture on Instagram. Then when you go inside the LIKEtoKNOW.it app, you’ll have links to everything in the picture (or similar items).

Or you can just go to the Style tab of the blog and press the link that says “Shop My Instagram“.

Have a happy weekend! <3
