Happy Fri-YAY to normal society!
I work Saturday this week, so today is more like a Thursday for me haha! Any other nurses out there that feel me? #thestruggle
Lately, we are trying to work hard to save money where we can, so one of the cheap meals I made was stupidly easy, but it is literally one of G’s all-time favorites. Thank goodness he is so easy to please with food!
I call it a lazy girl’s lasagna! It’s literally just a big bag of tortellini (I used Buitoni’s Spinach and Ricotta Tortellini but you could use whatever), a jar of pasta sauce of your choice, and then topped with lots of mozzarella and some parm. I cook mine at 375 for around 30 minutes or until the cheese is perfectly browned and everything is bubbly 🙂
The tortellini was probably $3, pasta sauce is like $2, and the cheese is probably $2 as well? I served with sauteed green beans so the meal was under $10 and we had PLENTY of leftovers for G to take to work the next day. I don’t think anyone would dislike this easy meal! I linked a similar “recipe” below if you like more direction 🙂
Moving on.
How pretty is this spring mani?!
The pink is PERFECT. And I’m obsessed with the flower details. Maybe one day I will forgo my usual SNS (dip powder) and get a fancy mani instead 🙂
This next fave is so dumb haha! But I’ve been giggling about it for like a week now!
Also is spelt a word? Is that a British thing? Regardless, this shirt cracked me up! I want it haha
And finally, because my letter board quotes seem to be really popular with people lately (specifically The Office ones), here is the inspirational quote that has been hanging in our living room this week.
