Happy Friday, friends!

I just got home from Charleston yesterday night, and am heading out today to Virginia. Literally not spending a single weekend at home this month!

I’m co-hosting a lingerie shower for one of my best friends this weekend, so I’ll share some of the details from that in a week or so. I’m so excited!

When I got home from Charleston, I had lots and lots of mail in our mail slot! One of the packages was from Kat Von D x Influenster. They sent me some goodies– a.k.a. their brand new 24-hour brow pomade (I’m wearing medium brown) and coordinating brow brush.

You’ll hear me talk about it in my YouTube review (be nice– it’s my first YouTube video!), but my box got stuck in my mailbox! The slot to take things out is smaller than the actual box that holds the mail, so it was impossible to get it out haha! I basically had to deconstruct the box while it was still in the box so that I could flatten out the box to take it out. I was literally elbow-deep in my mail box trying to get it out while simultaneously PRAYING that no one would come into the mail room because they would 10000% think I was insane.

I give the brush 5-stars and the pomade 4-stars. The pomade does not budge. While this is awesome, it’s also tricky because that makes it a little difficult to blend and to comb out any clumps or whatever. I have to do my own makeup for a wedding I am in this June, so I’m definitely using it for that! I put a swatch of it on my hand and have tried scrubbing it off my hand and it is still there… so I totally believe the 24-hour long lasting claim!

Another makeup Friday Favorite is the IT Cosmetics CC cream. I know I’m super late to the game on this one, but this stuff is amazing! I’ve been using multiple types of CC creams over the years– most recently the Clinique CC cream. This stuff is amazing though. Super hydrating and great coverage! Will certainly be using this one for a while 🙂 Here’s a picture of my makeup with it on– it’s the best my makeup has looked in a while!

Hey notice the outfit above? Look familiar? Am I allowed to make an item one of my Friday Favorites twice? Well too bad cause I’m doing it again.

This jumper from Vestique is just the best. It’s light and comfy, but looks expensive (or at least more expensive that $66!). It’s currently out of stock in small and large, but I think it will be back in stock soon.

I wore it all day around Charleston on a food tour of King Street (highly recommend this company and this tour btw) and then to go get moscow mules at the Rarebit (!!!!) per recommendation of a random couple we met on the beach.

I’m convinced that anything could taste good out of those chilled copper mugs, but The Rarebit really does make a mean mule. So good, that they have them on tap!

It has been a fun, fun week for me. I truly hope it has been for you as well!

Here’s our letter board quote for the week. It made me smile every time I saw it and I hope it makes you smile too!

Happy weekend everyone!
