Favorite Things: Vol. VI

I had a realization last week: I’m not spending a single weekend at home this month! Haha

That could explain why I haven’t posted in quite a while! At the beginning of the month, I went to Nashville with some friends from college. Last weekend, G and I went to Asheville for our 1 year anniversary (HOW!!!??). Plus we have two more trips planned for this month!

Basically, I’m trying to cram in lots of fun before I start my MSN next month 🙂

In other news, who can give me some good show recommendations? G and I are in a rut with Netflix and Hulu. We just started watching Survivor on Hulu, which we are honestly really into. G had never seen it before and I used to watch it in high school. I forgot how much I enjoyed it! Plus there’s like a million seasons, so it should take us a while to get through haha

What else is new? Just got my hair chopped for summer. Back to the collarbone-length that I just love. 🙂 So much easier to style! Trying to curl my hair a bit more often– especially now that it’s a bit shorter! I love this new texturing spray I bought from Sephora. The Dry Bar Triple Sec spells amazing and doubles as a dry shampoo and UV protection! It leaves my hair soft and not crunchy like some other products. Get a travel size to try it out for $13 or $26 for full size 🙂

Also, I’ve been meaning to share this, but my best friend bought me a letter board for my birthday! I’ve been OBSESSED with them for a while, so this is the quote currently hanging in our living room LOL

Luckily I’ve got plenty of Office quotes up my sleeve to put on this sucker 😉

Finally got creative with dinner for the first time in months and made some Mexican stuffed peppers. I had never made them before so I drew inspiration from a few recipes, but this recipe is what I ended up making! Make extras and they reheat great for lunch the next day!

Also a random tip, I’ve been doing a lot of research on pesticides lately, and peppers are (unfortunately) one of the foods that show up with high traces of pesticides in them. Tbh, buying organic green peppers isn’t that much more expensive than their non-organic counterparts. Also, why are green peppers cheaper than other bell pepper colors? Anyone else find that odd? Tastes the same to me haha

But moral of the story: I’m starting to check out this list of the “dirtiest” fruits and veggies and buying some of them as organic. It’s the little changes, guys!!

Happy weekend everyone!!!
